Course Policies (cont’d) • Attendance • Not “required” – but participation in classroom discussion is a graded component of the course • You will not be allowed to make up quizzes unless bonafide emergency or you provide me with advance notification. • Submission of Deliverables • Need prior approval if will miss deadline • “Prior” means advanced notice – not the day it is due!

Course Policies (cont’d) Academic Honesty • Course Policy on “Individual” assignments • Learn by doing • “Cooperate and graduate” – applies at conceptual level • Fair to ask another questions about the assignment • Not fair to “copy” their work • Do not copy the work of others and submit it as your own. Do not send your friend a copy of your homework for them to “look at”
