MATH 10 GR(Foundations) Leads to Math 11 GR (Foundations) Math content is similar to Math 10 AC but more concrete / less abstract Smaller class size – max 25
Who Should Take Math 10 GRFoundations ? Students who: • Have a strong grasp of basic math skills Successfully complete grade 9 math • Understand most concepts but need practice and reinforcement • Often need prompting to complete work
MATH 10AC PLUSAcademic Runs All Year – 2 credits – Math 10 AC and Math 10 AC Plus Nightly homework Leads To MATH11AC or 11AD, Math 12 AC or AD, Pre Cal and Calculus Additional hours provide time for development & reinforcement of concepts or extension and enrichment of course
Who Should Take MATH 10 AC PLUS ? Students Who: -Are committed to completing assignments and homework - have mastery of math skills and concepts -have strong initiative and work well independently - grasp new concepts with little difficulty
