  3. People call this time in history the: DUST BOWL

  4. During that time, the farmers plowed the fields to grow crops.

  5. The farmers plowed so many fields, the fields became dust, which felt like dry sand.

  6. The wind would blow the dust everywhere!

  7. People could not see very far, and the dust would be all around their homes. The wind would blow everything!

  8. People started to get sick from all the dust in the air!

  9. Finally, after many years of struggle, the wind slowly stopped and the dust went away and the Dust Bowl ended..
