1. Vel’s Group of Institutions was established in 1992 with the aim of transforming an individual into a complete man with character and ability committed to national service and development.

22. Medical Camps – Rural dental health programmes are conducted regularly by the institution, which are compulsory for the students to gain clinical experience. Rural areas benefit by the institution’s Community Dentistry Programme. Tie-up Arrangement – The institution has a tie-up with Government Hospital, Tambaram at Chromepet for practical training & clinical study.

Hostel – The institution has its own hostel with furnished rooms & common halls for boys & girls separately. There are separate spacious dining halls also in the hostel.
