PM KISAN Objective and Benefits Scheme for SMFs with a cultivable land holding of 2 hectares or less extended to landholder Farmer families with no cap on the cultivable land (exclusion criteria applied) • Central Sector Scheme to augment the income of Farmer families • 01 • Empowering farmers to procure resources to ensure proper crop health and appropriate yields • 02 Benefit of Rs.6000 per annum per family payable in three equal installments, every four months • Safeguarding farmers from falling prey to malicious moneylenders for meeting expenses • 03 The Scheme is effective from 01.12.2018 for transfer of benefit to eligible beneficiaries

PM KISAN Process Flow FTO: Funds Transfer Order Eligible records available for RFT Generation States generate RFT online, download it, sign it and upload it again List sent back to states for eligibility check or correction • Rejected Data is sent back to states for correction State uploads farmer details on PM KISAN portal and the system validates the records for junk data or duplicity Accepted data is sent to PFMS for further validation Payment is processed and the beneficiary list is made available on the portal PFMS generates FTO and shares it with the department RFT: Request for Funds Transfer
