Education and TrainingGeneral reflections • It looks like ideal model, but each country’s reality is very different. • The long term perspective creates a positive approach. • The visibility of Non-Formal Learning increased. Better links between NFL and Formal Education (FE).
Education and TrainingImplications • Will LLP include the YiA Programme? It’s not clear will these programmes be united or not? • “Unemployment” - how much the new priority will change the YiA approach? • The number of activities/participants (e.g volunteers) will be more important?
Education and TrainingSuggestions • The document missed educational context. The NFL is mentioned, but not Non-Formal Education NFE). • NGOs are not mentioned in the document. It will be better to define more clearly who will be responsible for the implementation of the program. To name the key actors • Good examples will be helpful for understanding of the priorities. It will be also helpful to add objectives of the priorities implementation. • That’s a pity that information about YouthPass
Imployment and Enter..General feedbacks • It’s not only about unemployment. It is also about the process of transformation. • It is a reaction on the labour market situation. Unemployment is very high… It’s about labour politics. • It is a long term strategy – for example the SALTO Inclusion was created before the crisis.
Imployment and Enter..Implications and Suggestions • It should be clarified how much youth work can contribute to employability. • It will be good to define specific target groups of this policy (e.g. Youngsters who didn’t finish officially secondary education). • Entrepreneurship is a new priority, but it’s related to the YiA Programme objectives.
Imployment and Enter..Implications and Suggestions • NAs have to attract professional NGOs to deal with this issue. It could be to difficult for the youth NGO… • How organisations which are dealing with youth can support this idea? We know how we can influence this field. That part of the policy is too much for the youth NGO. Equal access to the labour market is not our task, is it? How to attract professional NGO to deal with this issue. • The NAs must take into consideration impacts of the projects on this topic. It should be measurable, especially when budget is limited.
