In case of need, or to reset the voice counter, it is possible to unlock the admin settings. • In the “administration” part, enter “admin” and “1234” as password. It is possible to modify this password and to reset it with the complicated “admin password reset code”

BGAN Practical case 3/3 • Update the firmware • The latest version is 3.00 • In “Properties”, “software information” or directly “Upload” , click on “Upload” and browse to the place where it is stored. • Edit a diagnostic report • When you want to generate a diagnostic report, from the Help desk window click “Generate report”. When the report is generated, you can save it to a txt file, winzipp it and enclose it when reporting an error.

The phone number of the Thuraya is linked to the SIM Card.

The latest software release is the 6.7 Follow the doc ThurayaXTUpgradeManualv1-1.pdf to update the Thuraya. The update of the firmware must be done before trying to solve any problem occurring on the Thuraya.
