Research for meal card I researched a meal that was good for you with fish for my meal card. I found prawn laksa on the Good Food website and thought it was something a bit different that many people would not have tried. The recipe can be changed for vegetarians which means it suits others not just for a specific person. The good food website gave me lots of nutritional values that I needed for my meal card and I used the image on my meal card.
Evidence for Database I narrowed my fruit for desserts to under 100 calories because your amount needed per day for women is 2000 and for men it is 2500 so therefore having a small amount of calories in a desert means you won’t exceed you daily allowance. This means that they are good for you and you are not eating to much fat. They are all 100g so you have a sensible portion.
Evidence for spreadsheet My spreadsheet contains data from my questionnaire when people answered it. I have compared the different results I got and showed the results in a graph or chart. The questions are to do with the topic and meant I could create reports on favourite food types and a meal card on foods people don’t like as much.
Evidence for spreadsheet I put all my data that I collected on to one slide on my spreadsheet with the answer to each question from 20 different people. This wasn't clear to read and compare so for each question I created a slide with an average, so have been compared and a graph or chart showing what it looks like. The question are all important for healthy eating for example I researched how much exercise you should do a week which is you should do 30minutes of moderately intense exercise every 5 days. This showed if people were doing the right amount of exercise.
Evidence for query’s and report’s I did a report on fruit and veg because from my research it is the most popular food group. I gathered this research from my questionnaire which is shown to the left. I found out about the different food groups on a food pyramid with the amounts you are meant to have per day. The picture is below.
