David L. Carrasco Job Corps Center • Erick Ramirez (President) • Daisy Garcia (Vice President) • Andrew Lozano (Treasurer) • Luis Rivera (Chief of Staff) • Victor E. Nava (Dorm Represenitive) • Kristin Molinar (Officer)
Our Concern Students disrespect property of others and a lack of appreciation for things provided in the Job Corps Program.
Our Challenge Our challenge is to improve security as well as organization so that students and staff can be confident that property will be secured on center.
Why It’s an important challenge for the SGA to address. • When your items are stolen you jump to conclusions assuming you know who did it • May lead to believing everybody is a thief • Negative atmosphere among roommates
In Conclusion Our concern is that students disrespect property of others and have a lack of appreciation for things provided in the Job Corps Program. Our goal as the SGA(student government association) of David L. Carrasco is to improve security as well as organization so that students and staff can be confident that property will be secured on center.
How will we know we have accomplished our goal? • Less incident reports • Less stolen and damage reports • Positive reports, gold passes, monitory rewards/gifts • Positive Enrollment • Less money being spent on property damage
