AccessRH model Key Features: • IT platform • Managed inventory of select standard product(s), stocked by manufacturer on UNFPA’s behalf • Demand planning and inventory management functions added to UNFPA PSB portfolio • Continued emphasis on information sharing and use for decision making
AccessRH model Operations: • Integrated team • Use of existing IT infrastructure • Small fee • Phased approach by customer type and product

Current Status • AccessRH operations fully funded for the three-year period since Feb 2010 • $10M USD funding for start-up inventory secured • Supplier survey conducted • Advisory Group currently being formed • Staff recruitment ongoing
What’s Next • Place first orders for inventory (June/July) • Develop the marketing and outreach strategy • Design the IT solution (ongoing through 2010) • Fill orders for 53mm male condoms (Fall 2010) • Manage inventory and demand planning • Receive client feedback on service (Spring 2011)
