Answer 1 A wave is a disturbance or movement that transfers energy through matter and space, without causing any permanent displacement.

Answer 2 No Objects float on the wave and stay in one place. The sound waves move the object.
Question 3 What is the Crest and Trough?
Answer 3 The Crest is the highest point of the wave and the trough is the lowest point of the wave.

Answer 4 The distance from crest to crest and trough to trough.
Question 5 What is frequency measured in and what does it measure?
Answer 5 Frequency is measured in hertz and it measure cycles per second.

Answer 7 Compression waves moves up and down. Transverse waves moves along back and forth.

Answer 11 Greater. The smaller the wave, the larger the frequency.
