  2. Learning Defined • “Learning is an enduring change in behavior; or to behave in a given fashion, which results from practice or other forms of experience” (Shunk, 1991).

  3. Distinguishing features of a learning theory • 1) How does learning occur • 2) What factors influence learning • 3) What is the role of memory? • 4) What types of learning are best explained by the theory?
