  3. Marked with a Seal A seal on a letter – only for the recipient A seal on the law – cannot be repealed Assurance

  4. Assurance of the Spirit • Not assurance through the gifts... Each one is given different gifts. • Not assurance through the fruit... Evidence of the sinful nature does not deny the presence of the Spirit. • So what assurance? Who the Spirit is not what He does...

  5. The Spirit in You • Counsellor: John 14:16 – Knowledge of what is good and glorious. • Truth: John 14:17 – Understanding more of God’s plan. • Remind you of Jesus: John 14:26 – Thoughts drawn to Jesus. • Move you: John 3:8 – Like the wind directs and moves you. • Eat with You: Revelation 3:20 – Spend time and build closeness with you.

Deposit Guaranteeing Inheritance • Deposit on a house – you move in and live in the good of it. • Established as the owner. • Guarantee – Not like our insurance, where they will find any loophole to squirm out. • Not guaranteed for 5 years, but “until redemption” • Not a guarantee for failure, but a deposit preparing for fulfilment.
