Changing Lives, Ending Cancer • Fundraising increased from 1.6M for the 2017 Can4Cancer to 2.2M for the 2018 Can4Cancer • Insights derived from SAP showed increased engagement based on participation and recognition • Over 150 riders and 40 support crew, embarked on a 3-day ride from Forster to Sydney for Can4Cancer. • CBA & Tour de Cure • “SAP have been a true partner in our goal to Change Lives, and Cure Cancer. Thank you for all you have done.”- Jason Hulme, The Commonwealth Bank • In today’s digital age, consumer technologies such as wearable devices, GPS tracking, fitness apps, and health monitoring allow people to take a greater responsibility for their physical and mental health. As a result of this, Can4Cancer looked for a way to help utilise technology to improve rider and supporter engagement and bring together both personal and peloton level data to provide various performance insights on the day. • CBA provided three additional technology elements for the program (lead by SAP technology); consolidated & aggregated ride insights and analytics pulled through Open API connected to rider data, generated new dashboard view using SAP Analytics Cloud dashboard to manipulate and digest insights in a consumable manor, developed post-event analysis of insights into shareable media format to enhance experience amplification. • 3 Nights of Awards and Engagement supported by the insights provided by SAP. Enhanced the engagement of the riders, provided back a motivational reminder to the hard work and dedication they where putting into the cause. For 2019, SAP are looking to equip CBA & Tour de Cure with insights to support communication amplification in the months leading up to the event– supporting the fund raising campaign which is so crucial to millions across Australia.
