  3. Who? • Ferdinand Porsche and Adolf Hitler invented volkswagen. • Hitler requested Porshe to make Volkswagen because cars were too expencive • Hitler wanted to make volkswagen affordibal to the average person. • August Horch founded the Company HORCH & CO in 1899 which created Audi

  4. Where? • Both created and manufactured in Germany

  5. Objectives • The objective of creating Volkswagen was so that average people could buy a low cost car because others were so expensive.

  6. Ferdinand Porsche • Ferdinand Porsche invented Volkswagen by request of Hitler • Was the first person to succeed at making a affordable car for regular people.

  7. August Horch • Started his own company called August Horsch & Cie in Cologne, but suffered harsh economic troubles and had to convert to a joint-stock company • He left August Horch & Cie and started another company in Zwickau called Horch Automobil-Werke GmbH
