How many electives can I choose? • There are 8 periods of the day, but 1 period must be reserved for lunch. • Many students elect to have a year-long study hall, this leaves 6 periods that must be filled with classes. • To know what the required and typical courses are, see the Typical Schedule mini-presentation for your student’s grade level.

  3. Financial Literacy • Financial Literacy requirement is a graduation requirement • Students must take a class that has Financial Literacy components at some point in grades 9-12.

  4. Elective Courses • To earn additional credits, students may take additional core classes beyond the minimum requirements or may opt to take elective courses. • Elective courses may include: • Fine Arts—Choir, Band, Orchestra, Drama, Visual Art • English electives • Business classes • Industrial Tech/Robotics • Information Tech (I.T.)
