Vision:
To drive a measurable increase in productivity and innovation of Australian SMEs in the clean energy sector and appropriate sector-based supply chains by providing access to world class professional advisory services.

The CEIC is an industry based program. It is focussed on assisting companies to take the business opportunities created by the policy responses to climate change including renewable energy, energy efficiency and water efficiency.
The clean energy sector will continue to grow and become a significant contribution to Australia's economy. Export is an important aspect for these companies.
8. Clean Energy Innovation Centre;
Works with SMEs involved in water efficiency, solar hot water and desalination sectors.
The Centre's highly skilled Business Advisers deliver integrated, practical services to assist businesses to improve productivity; to build internal capacity; capitalise on their growth potential and provides a range of services to link SMEs to new Ideas, technologies and opportunities.
The Clean Energy Innovation Centre has partners to support the centre and assist clients in this sector. Newcastle Innovation, WA Sustainable Energy Association and the Australian Institute of Commercialisation are partners.
9. Clean Energy Innovation Centre Inter-agency Referral is a Priority:
Enterprise Connect operates in every State and has relationships through the State EC offices and Adviser network, with State departments and some relevant local agencies.
Enterprise Connect at the national level, also works collaboratively with;
agencies including ICN, Australian Industry Group, Austrade, AusIndustry,
Research organisations including Universities, CSIRO.
National Industry bodies.
These relationships supplement the formal CEIC partner agreements with NI, WA SEA and AIC.
10. Clean Energy Innovation Centre Eligibility:
Firms with an ACN operating within the above definition of the clean energy sector which
have a turnover (can be as expenditure) range $1.5 to $100 million (of clean energy related interest)
are solvent
have been operating 3+ years;
