Saflufenacil – Biological Profile • Application Rates • Foliar Burndown - 18 to 25 g ai/ha • Soil Residual control - 50 to 125 g ai/ha • Weeds Controlled • Over 80 broadleaf weeds including glyphosate- and ALS-resistant biotypes, glyphosate weed gaps • Products / Formulations • Solo: EC, SC, WG* • Premix: Dimethenamid-P, Imazethapyr • Crop Selectivity • Rapid metabolism and soil placement • No direct foliar applications in crop except desiccation
Saflufenacil - Regulatory Status • Full data package submitted for registration in January 2008 in Australia, Canada and USA • Favorable toxicology, ecotoxicology, and environmental profile • Tolerances proposed for: vegetable legumes CG 6, 7 fruit and nut trees CG 10, 11, 12, 14, almond hulls cereal grains CG 15, 16, sorghum stover cotton seed & gin BP sunflower seed grape animal liver & kidney • Currently undergoing a trilateral workshare review with APVMA, EPA and PMRA • Registration projected for 2Q 2009 • Market introduction in 4Q 2009
