1. 2008 Wish List Leland High School has a three-part Wish List for the 2008 school year. Any contributions or resource information on the following items would be greatly appreciated. We also appreciate the support of Leland Bridge, Parents’ Club, and Leland Boosters. Electronic Sign: Leland would like to raise funds for the purchase and installation of a new Leland sign to identify the school and promote ongoing Leland events. Cost estimate: $30,000 2. Production Sound System: Leland would like to raise funds for a complete stage sound system for events, plays, and musicals on the Leland stage. This system would include actors’ microphones, mixing board, and speaker systems. Cost estimate $25,000 3. Landscaping: Leland would like to raise funds for landscaping along the access road behind the K building and to improve landscaping and install irrigation in front of the school next to Camden Avenue. Cost estimate: $15,000 2007 Wish List Success--The Wish List Items for last year were a quad area lighting system, front of school landscaping, resurfacing the tennis courts, new bleacher seats, and a new lighting system for the Leland Cafeteria Stage for Drama events. With the support of Leland Boosters, Parents’ Club, and Leland Bridge, along with individual parent donations and public grants, we have been completely successful. The quad lighting is in, the new bleacher seats are in, the tennis courts have been resurfaced, front landscaping is done, and we are in the bid process for the new stage lighting.
