  4. Solar Energy • In Dublin we learnt about different solar systems • Solar systems are used to heat water • Solar systems are used to produce electricity

  5. Benefits • Enivronmentally Friendly • Renewable • Reliable • Saves you money

  6. How it works? • Works by taking the power from the sun • Creating energy which is used to heat water • Which is used to heat the house • It s about 2 m² of pannel/prs/day

  7. P.V Systems • Collecting solar energy • We learnt how to calculate for an optimum solar captivity • Converts energy from the light into electricity then use or sell it

  8. Practical • We assembled and fixed a solar panel on a roof • We got to fill and set up a standard hot water solar panel • Had a demonstration of how a P.V panel works, and got to see it working

  10. Overall • Really enjoyed our time in Dublin • Learnt a lot
