  3. State Legislative Trackingin Four Steps Check your email reports. Many will start arriving in January. Read summaries (bills). What am I looking for? Tell us if you identify a priority issue requiring action. Participate on monthly conference calls.

  4. Step 1:Check Your Email Step 1: Check your daily email for CQ StateTrackdaily reports. Also, keep an ear to the ground. Listen to the local news. Read communications from your stateOTO societies, medical societies, etc. Talk with your colleagues.

  6. Step 3: Taking Action Alert the Team! Contact the AAO-HNS. Use our online form. Email govtaffairs@entnet.org. Contact your state OTO society. Contact your state medical society.

  8. Step 4: Monthly Conference Calls Why Conference Calls? Identify national trends. Answer legislative vocabulary or procedural questions. Hear your solutions. Great way for feedbackand the exchange of ideas.
