If you use total points, journals can’t all be worth 100 points because 45 journal entries equals 4500 total points, 4 tests only equals 400 total points so the tests are worth a lot less overall. Journals perhaps need to be 10 points If they want to do 100 points for all assignments and do category weights, it will average each category. Know that the grade will be skewed until ALL categories have some assignments in them.

Syncing Canvas Grades with PT Pro Read this before you start • Doc (Click Here) to view this guide that will walk you through how to setup the sync with PowerTeacher Pro and Canvas. • Video (Click here) to view the Video guide.
Canvas Grade Transfer Notes Currently, there is an issue with syncing grades to powerschool as the only categories that transfer over are the ones created by the district. It is our recommendation to use the district created categories for now until the issue is resolved then we can make needed adjustments. The district created categories work perfectly with PowerSchool Sync. We do not have a time frame of when this might be fixed.
