Important Deadlines • March 22: Last Day to withdraw from single course • April 12: Last Day to withdraw from all classes
Summer and Fall Registration • Registration opens March 29—your date based on credit hours • Must have schedule approved using eAdvising System
eAdvising System • 24/7 access to planning and policy info • Submit schedule request form electronically • Wait to hear from advisor • Schedule appointment (optional)
Summer Coursework • UNC Charlotte—2, 5 week sessions • Session 1: May 24-June 30 • Session 2: July 6-August 11 • Other Institutions—ONLY with permission
Summer Transient Study • Determine if equivalent course is offered • NCCC’s: www.uncc.edu/admissions/Transfer/ccequiv.asp • All other schools: consult appropriate department • Submit transient study form BEFORE starting class • Request transcripts be sent to UNC Charlotte • See “Current Students-Advising” at www.coe.uncc.edu
Final Registration Notes • Fall/Spring full-time: 12 credit hours • Register early to reserve your space • Students changing between EN and ET should consult their advisor
Policies You Should KNOW
Grade Replacement (1) • Bobby earns a D in Chemistry • Retakes class for better grade • No action = both grades in GPA
Grade Replacement (2) • Using grade replacement: • Bobby earns a B = B calculated in GPA • Bobby earns an F = D calculated in GPA • Bobby withdraws = D calculated in GPA

College vs. University Suspension • University and college suspension are different • You can be suspended from the College of Engineering if • Major G.P. A. below 2.0 • You fail to meet progression requirements
