  3. Literary Criticism Books- used to find remarks other people said about an author’s work. Types of Literacy Criticisms Books- LC- Literary Criticism (lived before 1800’s) NCLC-Nineteen Literary Criticism (lived between 1800’s and 1900’s) TCLC- Twentieth Literary Criticism (lived between 1900’s and 20th century) CLC- Contemporary Literary Criticism (lived after 20th Century) Others- based on characters, time period, etc. Print Resources

How to Use: • -Use author index to look up author’s name. • -Record the books and volume in which the author’s work can be found. • -Go to that book and volume and look up information on your particular author and story and find what comments are made about the story. • -Let’s Practice!!! Google Scholars • Scholar.google.com • Input your search term (check include citations) • You can customize the years searched. • Click on the article or information wanted. • Click on the cite button and record the MLA format • Click on the full text.
