HARMONISATION OF THE PROCEDURES FOR RESIDUES EVALUATION IN BEEF AND HISSUBPRODUCTS. IMS BEEF COMMITTEE MEETING IMS WORLD MEAT CONGRESS Buenos Aires ARGENTINA September, 27th 2010 Sebastião Costa Guedes President of the CNPC
RESIDUESFREQUENT PROBLEMS CODEX ALIMENTARIUS MONDIALIS HAS CLEAR GUIDELINES FOR THE PROCEDURES FOR SAMPLES AND ANALYSIS METHODS FOR A LOT OF THE CHEMICAL SUBSTANCES NORMALLY USED IN THE AH OR NUTRITION; UNFORTUNATELY THE COUNTRIES ARE NOT OBLIGED TO FOLLOW THESE GUIDELINES.
SOMETIMES THE RESULTS OF THE RESEARCH ARE USED AS TECHNICAL BARRIERS TO AVOID THE ACCESS OF PRODUCTS TO THE MARKETS; IMS SHOULD TO DISCUSS WITH JECFA (FAO/WHO RESIDUES GROUP) THE CHANCES TO OBTAIN OF THE CODEX SIGNATORIES THE AGREEMENT TO UNIFY THE PROCEDURES TO COLLECT SAMPLES TO ANALYSE. RESIDUESFREQUENT PROBLEMS
BENEFITS OF THIS PROPOSAL IMS AS THE MOST IMPORTANT ORGANIZATION OF THE GLOBAL BOVINE MEAT MARKET MUST HELP TO OBTAIN THIS AGREEMENT. THIS AGREEMENT WILL HAVE POSITIVE INFLUENCY TO OTHER COUNTRIES THAT ARE NOT SIGNATORIES OF THE CODEX ALIMENTARIUS RESIDUES OF VETERINARY DRUGS COMMISSION.
IT WOULD BE AN IMPORTANT FACTOR TO AVOID DAMAGE IN THE IMAGE OF MEAT. BENEFITS OF THIS PROPOSAL
THANK YOU MERCI BEAUCOUP GRACIAS OBRIGADO
