  1. IEEE Region 10 Meeting, Adelaide, 16-17 April 2004 REGIONAL CONFERENCE COMMITTEE REPORT MAIN GOAL FOR 2004: TO ASSIST TENCON 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008 AND OTHER CONFERENCE ORGANISERS IN THE REGION 10.

  2. II REPORT ON 2003 1. Assistance to TENCON 2003 organisers, Bangalore Section, “Convergence of Technologies, Development of Knowledge Society in Asia Pacific”, October 6-9, 2003. 2.   An agreement with TENCON 2004, Thailand Section, “Analog and Digital Techniques for Electrical Engineering”, Chiangmai, November 2004 signed. 3.  An agreement with TENCON 2005 organisers, Victoria Section signed. 4.   Call for TENCON 2006 -2008 dispatched and proposals collected. 5. Assistance to various conference organisers in the Asia Pacific Region.

  3. III PROPOSED ACTIVITIES FOR 2004    1. To overlook reporting of TENCON 2002 and TENCON 2003. 2. To oversee the organisation and budgeting for TENCON 2005. 3. To sign agreements with TENCON 2006 (Hong Kong Section), TENCON 2007 (Tainan and Taipei Sections) and TENCON 2008 (Hydrabad Section). 4. To collect Expresses of Interest for TENCON 2009 and 2010 from Region 10 Sections.
