  2. DO YOU HAVE PHSICAL SOURCES OF REFERENCE FOR THE LESSON? • Many students form wrong opinion about the the study of Geography which has become a myth and as such has presented students with the challenge of demystifying it. • This challenge continues to compound from time to time and as such the interest in the studying of the subject is waning. • Some geography topics seem difficult simply because it entails features that are alien to the students locality.

  4. THE WAY FOWARD • The elimination of abstract theories and making it practical the will create paradigm shift from the “dead” to a living subject thus whip students interest. • Modern technology has made the task of studying easier for both delivery of teaching plans as well as reference source for students

  5. HOW TO PREPARE THE LESSON • Can you adequately explain the phenomena surrounding the topic without much stress? • If not, then you need teaching aids which are simple tools to open the door of shut minds as it enables students to explore and exercise the possibilities in the in minds faculty.

  6. ARE YOU COMPUTER LITERATE? • You don't need to be “Bill Gates” to prepare this teaching material so can rely on the ICT personnel in your institution to develop your presentation. • Also available are lots of online videos to meet your needs. • Finally you need power point presentation equipment like a computer and projector.

  7. CAN YOU PAINT THIS PICTURE IN THE MINDS OF YOUR STUDENTS LIKE THIS • EARTHQUAKE • HURRICANE • FLOODS • TORNADO • DROUGHT
