  8. Pulled Groin injury • Strain - muscle tear or break to one of several deep adductors of the thigh • Three grades of injury - mild, moderate, severe • Muscles involved are: • Adductors magnus, brevis, longus • Pectineus • Gracilis

  9. Respiratory Muscles • Diaphragm • Increases the volume of thoracic cavity to draw air into lungs • External intercostals • Assist in inspiration by elevating ribs • Internal intercostals • Depress the ribs, reduce the width of the thoracic cavity and assist in expiration
