The Course of the War: Two War Fronts • CUBA • PHILIPPINES
CUBA • Teller Amendment once Cuba is free, America will “leave the government and control to its people” • July 1st – Battle of San Juan Hill • US troops defeat Spanish • July 3rd – entire Spanish fleet sank off the Cuban coast • Two weeks later – Spain is defeated in Puerto Rico.
