Vision • To protect right of all migrant workers in GMS.
Action Planning on Labor Migration Management in The GMS • Bilateral and multilateral to protect the right of migrant workers : • Improve the process the implementation on the existing MOU.
Continues to Cooperate between the committee on MoU of each countries( to share information by the email list and meeting every six months ). • Participants should be representative from Ministry of Labour, Foreign Affairs ,Immigration Department and relevant Ministries.
-The First Meeting will be held on 1st May 2010 - Agenda: -To share the strategic - Venue : Cambodia • Set up the sub committee to follow up the working condition and social welfare of migrant workers( to collect the complaint and submit to the committee).
Coordinating between employment process • Challenges -Resources ( Human and Budget) -Time management -How we are going to convince our boss? -Coordination with other Department or Ministries relevant.
To set up 3 shadow sub-committees 1 Possibility to provide documents for all migrants in GMS ( Long term by Ministry of labour to take the lead ) 2 To monitor the working and living condition of migrant workers in GMS ( Labour rights & social welfare ) lead by Ministry of labour and ministry of social welfare
3 Indentify the gaps and challenges on MOU and national verification ( Lead by MOFA &MoL). - Establish labour attache in GMS countries ( June 2010 ) -Share information between GMS countries . ……
Purpose • MI, MMN and other organizations with concerned to organize meeting to evaluate the knowledge on MW. • Keep network and continue share information on MW.

ORIGIN COUNTRY • To improve recruitment process - Origin country should have data collection occupation and job. - Make list occupation and job of worker send to recruitment agencies and destination country.( Recruitment Agencies)
Facilitative and provide legal documents( Identity cards, Passport, visa, work permit, residence permit etc…) for the migrants worker. • Araising awareness recruitment and job creation for local people
