  2. What differences are between the US and Russian citizen’s rights? I suppose that American and Russian have the same citizens’ rights. I want to know: What rights have citizens in our countries?

  3. My way: I decidedto make a research: • I read The United States Constitution and Constitution of the Russian Federation. • I’d asked my friend who lives in the USA. And now I know:

  4. Russia: • Man, his rights and freedoms are the supreme value. The recognition, observance and protection of the rights and freedoms of man and citizen are duties of the State. (Constitution of the Russian Federation, Chapter 1. Article 2).

USA: We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America. (Preamble to the United States Cinstitution).

Human rights in USA: Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances. The United States Constitution

  8. So the question is settled! Democracy would be impossible without freedom of religion, speech, press, assembly, and petition. We have the same rights and our countries' Constitutions protect it.

  9. My conclusion: I am a citizen of Russia, and my friend is a citizen of the USA. We have the same citizen’s rights. We are not so different.
