SVD software meeting summary15-Mar., 2006 • Alignment (A.Kibayashi) • software (T.Hara)
Alignment (A.Kibayashi) She estimate IP resolution and correlation of helix parameters of exp.49 data using alignment constant obtained from exp.48 w/o TOF. Her report is placed at http://www.hp.phys.titech.ac.jp/atsuko/post/2006/0314 Surprisingly she finds no correlation between the helix parameters, which were seen in exp.47. This means that we can use cosmic ray data w/o TOF for alignment. Basically the IP resolution and helix parameter correlation/shift with the exp48 constant is consistent with those obtained with ver.33 constant which is used for exp.45/47 data. So we can use the ver33 constant for exp49 data. She is now looking into exp50 data taken recently.
software status (T.Hara) Recently Ozaki-san asked us the difference of intrinsic resolution between Data and MC. He showed a comparison of the resolution between Data obtained byS.Fratina-san and those used in TRAK which are estimated from MC (according to Karim-san). What we have to understand is to know whether the MC intrinsic resolution reproduces data.According to S.Fratina-san, the resolution of data is worse than that of MC by ~20~30%, which is much bigger than the previous studies done by Matsubara-san for SVD1 (5%). The difference may attribute to the mis-alignment, but is not clear. BN794
