  4. Backje • Second biggest region of 3 kingdoms • Placed at West coast • Formed an alliance with Gaya kingdom to defenceGoguryeo army • Sent scholars to Japan(friendly relationship)

  5. Silla • 3rd biggest region of 3 kingdoms • Formed a country late • East coast region • Agriculture • Use ironware • Buddhism (to bring a country under the king) • Aristocrat meeting • Often had gotten invasion from Japan • FINALLY United 3 kingdom

  16. After Japanese colony period The Soviet union • Joined vs Japan war late. (9th Aug 1945) • Defeated Japanese army in China(only few) • Going to South (North Korea) • Mission=disarming Japanese army& cleaning war (Same with U.S. army) • But they dropped correspondence with South Korea

  17. Joined to make N.Korea to be communism with “Ill-Sung Kim” • 9th Sep 1948 established Democratic people’s republic of Korea

  18. After Japanese colony period The U.S. army • Marched on S.Korea to disarming Japanese army & cleaning war • Strongly opposed enemy force (Soviet) • Handled to establish S.Korea government under the UN • 15th Aug 1948 established S.Korea government 15th Aug : Gwang-bok-Jeol
