TRANSPARANCY / POWERPOINT • Amount of information on transparency • Per transparency only one item • Best is to use only 6 words per line • Use no more than 6 lines per transparency • Use characters with a well readable size • Use simple illustrations • Stay inside the frames of the transparency

  4. ASSIGNMENT The power goes down, and there you are with your slides. What do you do? Action: Form 10 groups of 5 persons I will appoint 3 or 4 persons that will have to formulate the main common conclusions of all groups and present them to the others

  5. Flexibility • be it BUT - adaptations may influence: • training targets • structure • time limits

  6. Handle tension • Take care of good preparation • Use memory back-ups (post-it, flip-over) • Mention your tension • Take breaks to reflect • Start with a question to make contact • Remember: practice makes perfect
