  2. Success with College Level Exam Program Get to know What business courses are you teaching that could translate into PLA (prior learning assessment) credit? Get a practice test Know the topics

Align & design course materials that are similar • CLEP lessons • “On the CLEP” • In addition vocabulary terms • Bring in vocab. that is relevant but not in the text when the Unit is done • “Word of the Day” flashcards • CLEP apps • iCLEP apps are $2.99 from iTunes and offer all 5 business topics • Upward Mobility apps $3.99 (mgt & acct) • CLEP EXAM prep free (mgt & mkt) • Warm-up questions that are sample test questions • Quiz, Test and Test again!

  4. Find a Testing Center near you • On the site, do a keyword search for “Testing Center” • Simply type in your zip code • Make contact and iron out the details • Student ID Form • What is accepted? • Payment • I know the test is $80, but how much is your administration fee? • Registration • Students must create an account online

  5. Present what you have put together to your administration and guidance dept. • Begin to sell your program like an AP • Get the Brochures to help! • Institutions>Advising students

  6. Inform Parents and Students Call the parents of those students who you believe will be successful • Letter to parents • Share on the web • Put it in the newsletter • Pass out more brochures • Talk about it in class • USE EVERY CHANNEL
