  2. "You (God) created everything, & it is for Your pleasure that they exist & were created.” (Revelation 4:11b)

  3. “Love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, & with all your strength.” (Mark 12:30).

  4. Our First Purpose in Life is to WORSHIP God!

  5. I. Focus our Attention on God.

  6. “You have looked deep into my heart, Lord, & You know all about me. You know when I am resting or when I am working... You notice everything I do & everywhere I go.” (Psalms 139:1-3)

  7. “Focusing on yourself is the opposite of focusing on God. Anyone completely absorbed in self ignores God, & ends up thinking more about self than God.” (Romans 8:7)

  8. “Don't become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fixyour attention on God.” (Romans 12:2a)

  9. “You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in You, whose thoughtsare fixed on You!” (Isaiah 26:3)

  10. Focus our Attention on God. II. Express our Affection to God.

  11. “We love Him, because He first loved us.” (1 John 4:19) “I don't want your sacrifices. I want your love! I don't want your offerings. I want you to know Me!” (Hosea 6:6)

  12. “Give yourselves completely to God since you have been given new life.” (Romans 6:13)

  13. Focus our Attention on God. Express our Affection to God. III. Use our Abilities for God.

  14. “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as though you were working for the Lord & not for people.” (Colossians 3:23)
