  1. Ecosystem Field trip Title your next journal page “Ecosystem Field Trip” letter your paper A- T, and copy each question. You will have 3-5 min. at each station to analyze the ecosystem in order to complete the following questions. You may use your “Ecosystem Vocabulary Foldable.” While looking at each image, imagine that you are on a field trip to this ecosystem. Imagine that you are able to spend time in the ecosystem and see everything that happens.

  2. Station 1- A. What are some of the producers that you would find here? B. What are some consumers found here? C. What is an example of a food chain in this ecosystem?

  3. Station 2 D. What is an example of an animal that is eaten by another animal in this ecosystem? E. Are there any organisms that attach themselves to other organisms for food? Give an example- F. In what ways do organisms depend on each other?

  4. Station 3 G. What are the biotic factors in this ecosystem? H. What are some abiotic factors in this ecosystem? I. For what resources may organisms have to compete? J. Would large carnivores most likely survive in this ecosystem? Why?

  5. Station 4 K. In what ways do the organisms depend on each other? L. How are organisms and their environment interdependent? M. What are some herbivores that might be found here? N. Are there decomposers present in this ecosystem?

  6. Station 5 O. What organisms might be a host in this ecosystem P. What are some resources that organisms may compete for in this ecosystem? Q. What are some producers found in this ecosystem?

  7. Station 6 R. Are there any parasites in this ecosystem? Give an example. S. In what ways do organisms depend on one another in this ecosystem? T. What are some producers in this ecosystem?
