Free chipping service provided late August, 2010. Each year of participation is an opportunity to reduce fire danger. Recommend more homeowners participate (19 homeowners participated in 2010, with 1.75 loads or ~20 cubic yards of chipped material collected). Fuel removed in public area adjacent to MOHA (to include open space from Farthing/Broadmoor Bluffs to Neal Ranch Rd, aka “the ravine”), as part of a 2010 FEMA grant.
