Timeline • April 2, 2014: Announcement and Request for Proposals • April 10, 2014: Informational Webinar, 9:00 AM • April 22, 2014: Last day for Question/Technical Assistance from CNP • May 7, 2014, 2:00 PM: Completed Applications Due • May 12-13, 2014: Applications Reviewed and Scored • May 16, 2014: Applicants notified of Preliminary Award • May 20, 2014: Final Announcement of Recipients and Amounts • August 1, 2015: Evaluations of installed components due to ODE CNP (required for reimbursement)

  4. Capital Equipment • Cost per unit $5,000 or more • Includes all costs to make useable • Net of rebates or discounts

  5. General Criteria • School level award • Not awarded a previous equipment grant • At least 50% free and reduced enrollment • Replacement of old or out dated equipment

  6. Specific Criteria • improves nutrition and quality of meals • improves the safety of food • improves the energy efficiency • aides in strategies for a smarter lunchroom • Expand participation
