Clothes • They wear robes that are called “Kimonos” • When children go to school they wear normal clothes
Culture • The word for makeup is “Kumadori” • They do performances with singing musical accompaniment a lot • The word for singing is Hayashi
Education • In Japan elementary schools last for 6 years • Middle school lasts for 3 years • High schools last for 3 years • Universities last for 4 years

What I Learned • I learned that they have different school schedules than we have here. • They have different money than we do. • They have different buildings. • They have a lot of differences compared to us. • But they have a lot in common with us as well.
