  2. What are the problems?

  3. People parking in the bus bays cause problems for the bus drivers. Nobody pays any attention to this sign and zoom around the car park at as much as 40 mph!

  4. Cars going the wrong way around the car park. Buses have no room when people park in the bus bay.

  5. We interviewed a few people and here are their views on the car park. Mr Anon- Not enough parking spaces, Too many cars and car park is too small. Miss Hall- I think that there are too many parents dropping their children off and picking them up at the end of the day. This makes the car park a very dangerous place during these times. Callum Gibbs-I think that teachers should have a sticker on their car so that we know which cars belong to the staff.

  6. How do Pupils in 7F get to school? As you can see 6 people drive to school in 7F. That doesn’t seem that much but if you estimate that each form has the same amount of people getting to school by car. That would be 24 people coming to school by car in Y7 alone. There are only 34 parking spaces. Think about the total amount of people who come by car in the whole school!

  8. Car Park times • 8:30-Very busy buses coming in and many parents arriving to drop children off. • 9:00-3:15-Not very busy. Car park might be full only because of visitors, 6 form, teachers and public. • 3:30-Very busy buses and cars picking up children. • Weekend-Not busy but there are some members of the publics cars.

  9. What changes could be made? I think there should be more parking spaces here. There should also be two exits one in and one out. There should be a big bold sign warning people that this is not a public car park. If they park here without a parent/staff car sticker they will be fined. Ways to stop the Public parking in the car park. Parents, Teachers and 6 form should have a car sticker saying that they are allowed top park in the school.
