Extra Curricular Activities • All Magnet students are allowed to participate in Sports, Musical, Academic, and Social groups of Canoga Park High School • Our goal is to provide all Magnet students with an inclusive high school experience while registered in the Magnet curriculum.
Extra Curricular Activities • 2004 CIF Los Angeles City Champions Boys’ Soccer Team • Highly ranked Marching Band • Magnet students also participate on the volleyball, soccer, swim, cross country, basketball, and academic decathlon teams • Animal Projects are available to students that meet the criteria
Field Trips • One of the different ways to approach teaching a state mandated curriculum is to offer field trips directly associated to the subject matter

ZooReach • Students are trained to give guided tours to elementary school aged children from disadvantaged communities • Gives our students experience in speaking about exotic animals • Exposure to related careers
Future Farmers of America (FFA) • A unique extra curricular activity that is offered on our campus • One of five schools in LAUSD that have chapters on campus • Public Speaking and communications skills are refined • As seen on Napoleon Dynamite
