  2. Monday 9/23/13 Aim: How can you create pattern and repetition in your abstract design project? • Do now: Looking at the images below, what art elements are creating the patterns? • Homework: Next Sketchbook project due on Friday 9/27

  3. Sketchbook HW due Friday 9/27 • Try your hand at an observational still life. • Observational: Drawing from what you observe (see) in front of you. Drawing from life. Arrange 3 objects in front of you and draw them in your sketchbook. Use shading techniques to add values (ranges of light and dark shadows) and textures to the objects.

Friday 9/27/13 Aim: How can you add finishing touches to your project? • Do now: On the back of your project, in pencil, write a short statement about what you’ve learned about design through this project. Projects are due today! We will complete a brief critique and fill out a rubric together
