  2. Website and plan comparison The plan and the actual website pretty much shares no similarities what so ever; the plan was made on Photoshop where you can pretty much design anything, whereas the actual site was made from a preset design due to the limitations that Wordpress currently has. Comparisons • Plan: • More brightly coloured • More sections on the navigation bar. • Has same title but uses different font. • Everything is in one main page. • Website: • Black body. • Green and white text. • Features guns from the game. • Generic layout. • Both website and plan • Both feature similar colours (blue, red, grey) apart from black. • Both the titles are the same colour. • They both contain navigation bars (even though the one on the plan works slightly different to the one on the website). • Similar coloured banner.

  3. Target audience • My website mainly appeals to teenage shooter fans who either want to play on their own or possibly play with a team mate (if I have a multiplayer mode developed). • Even though it is not recommended for young children to play this game, its age limit is only a 15 as it isn’t graphic enough to be an 18. • This game will probably appeal more to male gamers since females either have social lives or less likely to be interested in this type of game.

  4. How good are the technical aspects? • Unlike Dreamweaver or other advanced website creators, Wordpress doesn’t really rely on coding to make a website as it uses a dashboard to set up a website instead of using coding. • The website is highly simple to use; the navigation bar contains all the major sections of what you want in a website, and along with that, you can add a drop down list to explore different areas of that section.* • In the dashboard, you have the option to import content into each page, e.g. images, text and links to other documents and external websites. • Unfortunately, the bad thing about wordpress is that it lacks available creativity for other website designers; the majority of the information is preset. *

  5. How good are the design aspects? • My website has an innovative design, with the use of different sized fonts and images. • With its unique design, it would immediately appeal to the target audience mentioned earlier. Another thing to attract attention is the immediate way the game is explained or pictured. • It gives clear details for ways to explore the website. • Like the technical aspects, the templates on wordpress restrict the amount of changes you can make to the site.
