Step 1 • Using Internet Explorer, go to www.weebly.com (Weebly, 2013) Created by Dr. K. Hodges
Step 2 • Follow on screen instructions and set up a “FREE” account • Create a Website Title, Select the Type of Site, and Category • The subdomain name signifies the web address of your website (portfolio) and the name your site visitors will use to refer to your website. • Be sure to select a name that is easy to remember. Step 3 • Once you have created a subdomain (website) name. You are ready to create your weebly! This is what you will see! (Weebly, 2013) Created by Dr. K. Hodges
Step 4 Design your website. All the tools you need to create your weebly portfolio are located on this page in the top panel. (Weebly, 2013) Created by Dr. K. Hodges
Steps 5, 6, & 7 • To add text and other features drag and drop them to the desired location below the panel. • To edit the Title, click it and follow on screen instructions • To edit the Image, click it and follow on screen instructions (Weebly, 2013) Created by Dr. K. Hodges
Step 8 Click the Design tab and select a design layout. The website will automatically change to the selected design layout. (Weebly, 2013) Created by Dr. K. Hodges
Step 9 • Click Pages tab to add additional pages to your website. You also have the option to organize and rename pages. The pages will appear on your main page. (Weebly, 2013) Created by Dr. K. Hodges
Step 10 • Publish Your Page. This feature allows others to visit your website, saves your website changes, and sets your subdomain (website) name! A. B. C.
