Breakthrough Goal • Increase the number of runs of Diskwento Caravans to 100 by EOY. • Increase the sales from Diskwento Caravans from 75M to 100M by EOY.

In Generating Champion Anchors • Initiatives to undertake: • Associations/manufacturers will identify which caravan they will support from the 2014 National Calendar. • Associations/manufacturers will provide 10% discount to accredited distributor/retailer in the region where the supported DiskwentoCaravan is identified. • This will be covered by a MOA with that association/manufacturer.

Leaño Attended by: National Dairy Authority (NDA) National Food Authority (NFA) Philippine Association of Meat Processors Inc. (PAMPI) The Generics Pharmacy (TGP) Meat Importers and Traders Association (MITA) Phil Baking & Gardenia Bakeries Philippine Footwear Federation Inc. (PFFI) Sugar Regulatory Administration (SRA) • The associations/manufacturers were furnished with a copy of the draft MOA for their comments. Out of those who attended, only the following confirmed to participate in the MOA signing: National Dairy Authority (NDA) The Generics Pharmacy (TGP) Philippine Footwear Federation Inc. In Generating Champion Anchors • Meeting with USEC VMAD and the members of the Manufacturers / National Chamber of Food Industries Inc. held last June 17, 2014 to present the Guidelines and Draft MOA. • UsecVMAD endorsed the project to the Food Chamber - said they will study and will provide feedback to DTI. • Instructed the secretariat to study what incentive can we give in turn to participating Food Chamber members who will participate in these Caravans. • SM expressed their interest to participate in identified Diskwento Caravans. • to promote their house brand “Bonus” (sugar, rice, sardines, bread, condiments, milk, coffee, hotdog, corned beef, luncheon meat)
DC Focal persons Duties and responsibilities: • Shall oversee, handle and monitor the coordination, implementation and reporting of the Diskwento Caravan run/s in their respective region. • Shall directly coordinate with the Diskwento Caravan National Project Management Team for updates, issues and concerns regarding the project. Shall regularly submit in advance to the Diskwento Caravan National Project Management Team, the consolidated schedules of the Diskwento Caravan in the Region. • Shall regularly and immediately submit to the Diskwento Caravan National Project Management Team, the accomplishment report three (3) days after the Diskwento proper event. • Shall ensure the completeness and accurateness of the reports being submitted to the Diskwento Caravan National Project Management Team.
