  3. Exuberant: extremely excited, lively, enthusiastic • Inevitable: certain to happen • Impartial: not partial or biased, free of judgment/opinion • Fate: something that unavoidably happens, can’t prevent • Emanated: to come forth, flow out, issue

  4. Allegiance: to loyalty of a citizen to his/her government, to another • Ingrafted: to insert, become one • Incorruptible: that cannot be bribed or swayed • Procured: to obtain to get by care, effort or use of special means • Doleful: sorrowful, mournful, melancholy

  5. Dire: causing or involving great suffering, dread • Subordinate: placed in or belonging to a lower order or rank • Retribution: act of punishing or taking vengeance for wrongdoing, sin, or injury • Epithalamic: a poem or song written to celebrate a wedding
