  8. 3. Job Learned About Himself • Testing is essential • Tested by suffering • “though He [God] slay me, yet will I trust Him.” Job. 13:15

  12. We Learn About God • One side of God we learn only through suffering • We learn that: • He Cares • He loves us • Being right with God is most important

  13. 1Cor. 10:13 “No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.”
