  3. Save the frog • Use natural compost and do not use chemicals on your garden. Chemical fertilizers, herbicides and insecticides can be deadly to frogs and tadpoles. • Make a frog friendly garden planting native grass and shrubs to provide shade and places for frogs to hide when in the garden. • Learn more about frogs that may be living in your area and listen to their calls. • Be a responsible pet owner and keep your pets away from native wildlife. • Reduce your energy consumption, walk to school or work, take shorter showers, reduce household rubbish and turn off appliances at the wall.
