Our goal is to ensure that every student leaves Lemasters Elementary School prepared to become productive citizens in society. Teachers at Lemasters will improve instruction based on high quality research and educational best practices.

Tickets • Perfect Attendance Certificates for Staff and Students given during monthly assemblies • Showcase Classroom Percentages in the Hallway • Popcorn/Out-Of-Uniform Passes for classes with a 93% rate or better • Pizza party for the class with the highest attendance rate for the month • Individual classroom incentives • Student-parent conferences • Phone calls home by teachers and completion of contact log • Counselors and Social Worker referrals • Letters home from teachers and office personnel

  16. SMART GOAL DATA “Meeting Our Students’ Needs One Step at a Time” Goal — By the end of each Smart Goal cycle, 80% of Lemasters students will have mastered 80% of selected skills. Skills — Vocabulary, Basic Math Skills, Money, Grammar Usage and Mechanics, Story Elements Instructional Strategies — Marzano’s Strategies, Frayer Model, manipulatives, varied assessments-probes, performance tasks, constructed response, CFAs, teacher created assessments, multiple choice

SMART GOAL DATA • TeamGoals - Smart Goals adjusted to the needs of their age group. • Laser-like Focus - We used the IBD’s, DEA, and teacher made assessments as a guide for where our students were struggling most. • Reflection - We present Smart Goal summaries to our school community to share what strategies we have used, seek assistance for future strategies, and provide each other with a whole view of our children.
